View Full Version : Kosher Salt vs. Sea Salt?

I've got a kimchi recipe that calls for sea salt, but I've got kosher salt in my pantry. Is there enough of a difference that I should get the right stuff?

Kosher salt doesn't have the impurities in it that Sea Salt does. Kosher is fine.

I use coarse, pink sea salt from Whole Foods and I prefer it for cooking. [/FONT

I use Himalayan Pink Salt, it has good health properties.
