I love blogging. I have 3 of them, one is a private blog for members of my singles group, but the other two are so much fun to do. I like yours, but be careful of quoting or publishing recipes from someone else. This stuff is copyrighted and could get real problematic. Good luck and keep it up. Take a look at mine.

Very nice blogs. I don't have a blog but do have a recipe website www.recipedirect.net
I started it about 6 months ago...never realized how much work is involved. If you all have any suggestions for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Your website is really nice. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a photo for each recipe, if that is possible.:)

Great food blog. If the poll had not been closed, I would have voted for "wine and cheese" because that is something I'd like to learn more about.

You asked for suggestions so here goes. I would definitely make your site a blogsite. It's more personal, has only the information YOU want to post and eliminates the annoying ads. I had to look for your post amid all the other stuff.
Blogging is so simple. Just go to Google, type in Create a Blog and go from there. You can post your own photos of food, enter the directions and talk about what you're showing on your blog. You can even get a great background for your site. You and your friends can take turns blogging and entering recipes on the same site. And IT'S FREE!

Take a look at mine and many others and see what I mean.

Very nice looking site. The design is neat and clean and you posted some good photos. That's important. Can I suggest that you make your white font bold or larger? It can be difficult to read against black. That would make a difference, otherwise nice job.

Very, very nice food blog. Why are the headings in Italian? I think that's a nice touch, but then, I'm Italian too so I'm partial I can't for the life of me remember what the term "mai piu" means. Tell me.
Keep up the good blogs. Hope you take a look at mine too.

My blog is more of a fan site for Alton Brown (http://allaboutalton.blogspot.com). I only post my attempts at his recipes on there. I'm plan on posting my non Alton recipes on another blog but that hasn't gotten off the ground. :(

Congratulations on your food blog. I read it and think you will do well readershipwise. But I have to tell you that I take exception with your comment on the "see-saw heat inherent in all electric cooktops." I've been cooking on electric for 49 years and have NEVER encountered a see-saw type of heating element. Electric heat, like gas, stays at the temperature it's set at for then entire cooking time. I do a lot of cooking with my wok and find that I have turn down the heat. Maybe you need to have your Maytag checked. I love electric cooking and have turned out some pretty fantastic meals. And I'm sure you have too.

Check out my current blogsite www.chewonthistoo.blogspot.com (http://www.chewonthistoo.blogspot.com).
I have a new one coming out featuring all Italian meals.
Good luck with yours too.

I agree about the electric cooktop, I have never had a problem creating a great sear, or doing stir-fry. Unless you have a very high BTU burner, like those that you will find on a commercial grade stove, you will still have to stir-fry in small batches.

I read a test done by consumer reports testing consumer grade electric and gas stoves, and the coil electric burner out performed the gas burner overall. It is only when you move up to a professional commercial grade burner that gas brings a big advantage.

I think that with Food Network being so popular, and seeing that they often use gas and the chefs prefer gas, that most people now think that gas is the only way to go, but unless you have a high end stove, there are very few advantages.

When it comes to the oven, give me electric any day!

Gas ovens will heat up the kitchen more, simply because they need air ventilation to work.
