View Full Version : Thanksgiving Day Snacks
I'm bringing the snacks for T-Day. Along with others, I'm doing the Sausage Rotel dip. This recipe calls for 2 (8oz) cream cheese pkgs. Will I ruin it, if I use lo-fat or maybe 1 pkg of each. I don't want it too runny. Briefly, it's sausage, cream cheese and Rotel tomatoes, drained.
Thanks for any advice.

I don't think will ruin it. Maybe to be on the safe side, use one regular and one low fat. Personally, I don't mind the taste of low fat cream cheese. I think they call it neufachial cheese. I know I didn't spell it right. Anyway, sounds like a good recipe!

I like to make what my grandmother called Gizzies (chex mix snack mix) made with cheerios, rice chex, wheat chex, pretzles and mixed nuts. Drizzle with a mixture of butter, or olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot sauce you stir well, and then bake in the oven at 200 stirring occasionally until it is dry.
Rosemary nuts.
Ginger Bars
See's Fudge
Ting a Ling Candy
I think that's about it
