One of the main reasons I was hired here was to do a bunch of our instore product demos (free to the public too!)
I've come up with several ideas, but I'd like to get an idea from a broader spectrum of people. What would you like to see?

Any kind of food demos are always welcome.:)Or cooking products/appliances would be interesting demos. I can't say I would watch other types of demos...

Can you be more specific? We're basically going to be cooking with the products we sell. For example, we have a VitaMix blender that we'll be making soups/baby food etc in

Sounds like you have some good ideas. If you are showing how the blender can make something (food) super smooth, make sure you also give the customers a taste of it (if that is possible) so they really taste how smooth it is. It's more of an experience that way. If you are show casing a blender why not make smoothies with it. :)

Other ideas. They do this one in Canada almost every Christmas at a large department store. They have a knife demo and it's quite popular. At the end of it they give everyone watching a free (high quality) pearing knife. If there is something you can give the customer for free (a food sample, or product sample), I would guess your demo will be much more of a success. Good luck.:)
