just a couple of questions

can you batter frozen cod fillets & can you use frozen fish in a fish pie :confused:

You can batter cod fillets I would thaw them first as they will be loaded with water and you will want to squeeze a bit of it out. Especially if you are frying them.

As for using frozen fish in fish pie, it would work but you might want to thaw them frirst depending on how long yoru pie cooks, and how big the chunks are. if the other ingredients are already cooked it will slow the cooking process down for the fish. as you know they cook very fast so if you are wanting to cook it VERY quickly then you should thaw the fish first. If you have time for the pie to cook while thawing frozen foods in it too then have at it. It will work just fine.

Spend a couple of minutes placing your fish in water to thaw. You have better results.
