A good souper dooper soup to make. I used to think about this when I drove around real fast and crazy in the 1984 Callilac.
Cadillac Soup

1 cup of navy beans
1 cup of split peas
1 jar of strawberry jelly (16 oz)
2 cups of orange juice
3 cups of cooked noodles
5 cups of chicken broth
1 package of instance non flavored gelatin
1 ounce of cooked breakfast sausage
1 teaspoon of curry
1 cup of gravy mix (not the gravy, the powdered mix)
1 cup of marinara sauce mix (not the sauce, the powdered mix)
2 or three chicken thigh skins

Throw all ingredients in a pot. After that, take a mix master and beat it all up until you can't see any visible chunks. Cook for at least an hour on very low heat and enjoy.
Garnish with jelly beans.

Serve with southern orange pie for dessert.

The ingredients are a rather interesting combination, but I decided to pass when I saw the last ingredient, chicken thigh skins. Are they 'better' than the skin from the main part of the chicken?

Yes they are, you could soak em in orange juice for a night in two in the fridge before you throw em in the soup. It's good that way.

Cadillac Soup ... WOW . Sounds healthy and yummy. But preparation may take lots of time. I will try to search for it in Sunnyvale restaurants (http://www.boorah.com/restaurants/RestaurantSearch.do?restaurantName=Soup&restaurantLocation=Sunnyvale%2C+CA&x=0&y=0)...

Are you serious? This sounds like slop. I don't think my dog would eat this soup, or maybe they would; but that doesn't make it suitable for humans.

Well, you have to serve it with southern orange pie. If you don't like the soup you could always add some flour and make a cadellac bread out of it.

Wow, this soup sounds awesome. I just joined here after browsing a bit (had to thank you for this recipe). I hope the other recipes are as good as this one.

Thanks Grader.
